2012 Partnership and Collaboration Visionary Award
The Industry Council for Aboriginal Business awarded TFN Construction/Matcon Civil Joint Venture the Partnership and Collaboration Visionary Award for exemplifying leadership and best practices in the development of a business relationship that elicits mutually-beneficial initiatives and outcomes between industry and a First Nation.
2011 Joint Venture Business of the Year
TFN Construction/Matcon Civil Joint Venture was cited as a 2011 Outstanding Business Achiever for the BC Aboriginal Business Awards Joint Venture Business of the Year category. The Joint Venture award promotes and celebrates efforts that contribute to the economic well-being of the area; increases the employment of aboriginal people; provides learning or training opportunities for aboriginal people and businesses; and shows a commitment to the community in which they operate.
